About
I'm Liz Wiglesworth, writer and creator of works of Fantasy, Romantasy, and Science Fiction. In my writing, I explore human nature, finding the things that drive us towards introspection, motivate us to change, and the emotions that fundamentally alter us.
Writing is my chance to create, to bring new worlds to life. It is a process I cherish above all else. My work is primarily character-driven, but I love giving them alternative universes to explore: realities similar to our own and entirely alien environments, from magic running through blood to a world where children grow on trees.
I've mostly written novels, but have recently delved into the world of short stories. Right now I'm preparing for my first publication, a cozy science fiction short story that hopefully marks the beginning of my journey as a published author.

What happens when an assassin on a quest for vengeance fails? A mage invokes a life debt against her, forcing her on a suicidal trek across the continent. She must battle monstrous enemies and long-buried memories. If she cannot master the trauma that led her to this path, she will doom her party to horrors beyond imagination.

Hijinks and shenanigans ensue as no-nonsense firefighter bot 603 goes on vacation. Not willingly, of course. Shanghaied by its fire team, it comes online alone, stuck on a cruise with an itinerary stuffed with cheesy events. Believing itself indebted, it trudges through the activities, keeping badges of its survival from each. But through its misadventures, 603 discovers that there may be more to its existence than mere functionality.

Anju's life was set. She had a stable job, a wonderful fiancé, and a plan for their future together. But an unfortunate accident strips her of everything she's ever known, sending her falling from the top layer of the planet Pyr, waking marooned on the second layer, Syrenya. Unless she learns to wield powers over the spirit world, she'll be doomed to stay in a hostile alien world forever.
